How long have you been in business?
We have served the Cedar Rapids area since August 8, 1980.
What is your primary product or service?
We buy and sell all gold bullion, coins and jewelry as well as silver bullions, coins, jewelry and flatware. We also buy and sell platinum and palladium. We appraise collections for individuals and businesses. We also buy complete estates as there is no amount too small or too large.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We have always been interested in coins, and started as a coin collector as a youngster.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are honest, and have been in the area longer than most, and will be here for a very long time. We pay fair prices and generally more than other area businesses. We generally have a supply of bullion and 90% siver coinage on hand for sale at market value.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located in the Guaranty Bank building in downtown Cedar Rapids, IA.

We are located on the corner of Third Ave and Third Street on the fourth floor, suite 417 of the Guaranty Bank Building in Cedar Rapids, IA. Use the door on the Third Street side.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, good check or money orders.

We serve the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area as well as nation wide business.

My name is Ron. I am the owner/operator of Ron's Coins.
What are your hours of operation?
We are generally open 9am - 5pm Monday-Friday. It is best to call first as I go on-site for appraisals, and may be out of the office at times. We are also available for appointment during off-hour by calling 319-365-6108.
